How do I access the Splunk Ideas Portal? You can access the Splunk Ideas Portal here. You sign in by using your existing Splunk Account credentials or creating one here.  Did all the existing Ideas get migrated over into the new platform? Yes, all Ideas that were previously submitted on App Dynamics’ Idea Exchange are migrated onto the Splunk Ideas Portal.  Can I see the Ideas I submitted on the old Idea Exchange? Yes, you can find previously submitted Ideas by searching the Idea name on the new portal.  How do I submit new ideas to Splunk Ideas? Please log in using your Splunk Account to access the portal, and click the ‘Add New Idea Button’ to submit an Idea for any GA Splunk product. Hello Splunkers,   I’d like to introduce myself—I’m Ryan, the former AppDynamics Community Manager, and I’m excited to share that I’ve recently joined the Splunk Community team. Today, I have a big announcement that brings our communities together! What’s Changing? The AppDynamics Community has officially merged with the Splunk Community! With this change, you’ll find new content areas dedicated to AppDynamics within the Splunk Community.   New Key Areas  [Splunk AppDynamics Forums] – A dedicated space for discussions around AppDynamics products. [Splunk AppDynamics Technical Knowledge Base] – Access technical resources and best practices. AppDynamics Idea Exchange → Splunk Ideas – The AppDynamics Idea Exchange has officially been migrated over to Splunk Ideas and is now live! Changes for AppDynamics Community Members If you’re joining us from the AppDynamics Community, you’ll notice some differences in how discussions are structured. Moving forward, we will have a single forum with Labels to help categorize discussions. How do Labels work? Every new post will require at least one Label to be selected before submission Labels will allow you to filter and find relevant discussions easily We are working on an improved Labeling system, so expect enhancements in the coming months to give you more flexibility!   Having Trouble Finding Existing Content? We're excited that the migration is complete and AppDynamics content and members have their new home. One thing we're still working through is redirects. The key thing here is that we want people to be able to easily find content they may have had bookmarked, or content that was linked to on other AppDynamics websites. We're doing our best to get this resolved ASAP.  Having Trouble Logging In? If you were an AppDynamics Community member and are experiencing login issues: Ensure you have a Splunk Account—this is required to access the Splunk Community. We're thrilled to share exciting news about our upcoming community migration! When is this happening? Mark your calendars! The migration is scheduled for Saturday, March 1st, to Monday, March 4th. The AppDynamics and Splunk Community will be in read-only mode during this period. Starting Monday, March 4th, you can connect and engage with the community at our new home: community.splunk.com. What's happening? We're merging the AppDynamics Community, including all your favorite content and fellow members, with the Splunk Community. We understand this is a significant change, but we're confident that merging two vibrant communities into one dynamic hub will enhance your experience. Where will I find AppDynamics content? You'll find AppDynamics discussions and resources within the "Answers" section of the Splunk Community. Rest assured, all the AppDynamics content will be there. Idea Exchange The AppDynamics Idea Exchange will also be migrating. Splunk Ideas can be found here. You will need a Splunk Account to access this content.
